The head of Comcast for South Florida and two of his top managers attended the Lakes at Boca Raton Board meeting on Monday night, April 19 after reading more than 200 comments from residents of the Lakes about Comcast’s service shortcomings in our community. The Board spent over 30 minutes discussing our recent problems with the Comcast delegation and how they can be remedied.
The problem with TVs going snowy and emitting an ear-piercing static sound appears to have been resolved by the installation of new equipment within the Lakes. Some of the other signal disruptions recently were caused by Comcast technicians on campus testing the system.
However, other problems continue, according to resident feedback. Comcast’s chief technology manager told the Board that it would probably take until mid-June to correct all the problems that have been reported.
Comcast has designated a phone number for residents of the Lakes to call and leave a voicemail message about your continuing problems with Comcast service – 561-670-2516. Be sure to include that you are a resident of Lakes at Boca Raton. The head of Comcast has assured us that all such messages will be followed up on at their end.
Alternatively, you can send them an email at wpb_comdev@cable.comcast.com(the space between wpb and c is an underscore). If you email them, which is preferable, please copy thelakesitenews@gmail.comso the HOA can keep abreast of the problems you are reporting.
