The alligator spotted in the lake between Amber Bay and the pre-school per a recent posting on this website has been captured.
However, a new gator has just been spotted in the Lake between Harbour Lakes and Cypress Bend, fairly close to Lakes Edge Trail. Judging by its head size of nearly two feet, this one appears to be fairly big. Our new trapper is coming here today to try to capture it.
And another, much smaller one was seen on April 26 sunning itself in an Amber Bay back yard near the small lake close to Lakes at Boca Raton Drive.
No further word on the one that appeared in the big lake behind the Rec Center several days ago.
If you spot an alligator in our lakes or on our lake banks, please call our new trapper Timmy McDunough at 561-350-1436. He has taken over responsibility for the Lakes from Corey, our previous trapper.
