A resident of the Sand Dollar cul-de-sac in Amber Bay was the victim of a house break-in on June 28.

An alert neighbor spotted two men who appeared to be in their early 20s and drove a silver SUV at the scene of the crime, which took place about 1:30 pm.  The owner told police that they stole a laptop computer and a playstation.

This is the first house break-in that has occurred in the Lakes for a long time, at least according to online police reports.  But when thiefs score, they sometimes come back for more in the same neighborhood.  So please take all necessary security precautions.
