A Cypress Bend resident heading for work this morning, July 13, was startled to see a big alligator in the middle of Lakes Edge Trail.  It was heading for the Lake separating Symphony and Lacrosse when it got spooked by an oncoming car and retreated back to the lake on the Cypress Bend side of the road.

It may have been the same 8-footer that has been spotted by a number of residents lately and which was nearly captured by our trapper on July 11.
