By now you should have received the first mailing about our 2012 Annual Members Meeting, which will be held on Monday night, January 23 starting at 7:30.

That mailing contained a Proxy to establish a quorum so the meeting can take place as planned.   Please take a moment to fill it out and return it by postal mail to the HOA office at 10551 Lakes at Boca Raton Drive, fax it to 561-483-2878 or drop it in the HOA mailbox at the rear of the parking lot.  Even if you plan to attend the Annual Members Meeting, it would be appreciated if you would send in the completed Proxy ASAP so we can establish a quorum well before January 23.

The other enclosure in the first mailing was a candidate form for those who are interested in running for the Board of Directors.  A reminder that representation by subdivision has been abolished, so anyone can be a candidate regardless of where they live -- unless they are in arrears.

The second and last mailing will go out no later than December 22.  It will include statements by each of the candidates for the 2012 Board of Directors and an absentee ballot to cast your vote for three of them.

The 2012 meeting will be held in the clubhouse for the first time in many years.  The Registration table will open at 6:30, and refreshments will be served under the barbecue pavilion starting at 7:00 for those who didn't have time to chow down before coming over to the Community Center!
