The Property Manager's Corner

G.R.S. Management Associates, Inc. has been the management company for the Lakes at Boca Raton since October, 2006.

Founded in 1994, G.R.S. quickly expanded to become one of the larger property management companies in Palm Beach County. It now manages over 100 communities, including our immediate neighbors The Shores. The Board of Directors chose G.R.S. in part because of their excellent reputation for financial management, which was a high priority given past difficulties in that area. 

COMMUNICATING WITH THE HOA

Loren Kellock was appointed Property Manager as of October 4, 2010, replacing Martha Basal, who resigned to move back to New Jersey.  She is the primary contact for homeowners in The Lakes about everything except financial account matters. The best way to reach her for a fast reply and follow-up is by email at lakesatbocaraton@gmail.com.  She can also be contacted by phone at 477-3199.  

Tracy Nowack oversees all Lakes homeowner accounts at G.R.S. headquarters in Lake Worth. If you have any questions or problems concerning your account such as past due balances, please contact her directly at tnowack@grsmgt.com or at 561-641-8554 Ext. 136.

You can use this website to communicate effectively with the rest of the Association. Just click on the Contact Us link on the Home Page, enter your question, problem or comment, and your email will quickly be routed to the appropriate person for follow-up.

You can also use this website to download the forms (PDF format) you need, all of which were revised and streamlined for use on this website. You still need to fill out the form in hard copy and mail it, fax it, or drop it off at the HOA office, but there is no need to come to the office to get the form in the first place.

MANAGEMENT COMPANY FUNCTIONS

G.R.S. provides various financial services for the HOA, including monitoring homeowner payments of assessments, preparing financial reports and drafting a proposed annual budget for the Board’s review and approval.  It oversees the various vendors who perform work for the Association, such as landscaping, tree trimming, pool maintenance, pest control etc., and solicits proposals and bids from other vendors as the Board of Directors requires from time to time.  It is also responsible for inspecting all home exteriors on a monthly basis.
